Indiana county installs prison visitor check-in/check-out kiosk

Living in Transition Effectively, an organization that provides services to persons who have been incarcerated, has teamed with the Kosciusko County, Indiana sheriff's office to purchase a safe visitor kiosk to account for everyone who enters or volunteers inside the prison, according to a Times Union report.

The kiosk has a check-in/check-out function and can run reports on visitors in real time.

Visitors will be required to wear a name tag printed by the kiosk.
