Indiana Anthem members now earn rewards at kiosks

August 15, 2016

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield of Indiana is offering new members the opportunity to take part in a health survey at Pursuant Health kiosks in Wal-Mart locations across the state. Users will receive a $10 reward for their participation, according to a press release.

The program is for members of Hoosier Healthwise, Healthy Indiana Plan or Hoosier Care Connect. Users receive the reward on their Anthem Rewards card when they take the survey within 90 days of enrollment.

"More and more consumers are accessing health information in nontraditional settings that offer convenience and time savings,"  Kristen Metzger, president of Anthem Indiana Medicaid plans said in the release. "The health survey takes just a few minutes and enables us to better serve our members, especially those who might benefit from Anthem programs that help manage diabetes, high blood pressure and other health conditions. The Anthem Rewards card is one way we are simplifying health care so that our members can focus on their health."

The purpose of the Anthem Rewards program is to encourage members to engage wellness activities such as visiting a doctor or enrolling in a program to stop using tobacco products.
