Indian court deploys kiosks for easy access to cases

Indians can now access their case statuses via kiosks recently installed by the High Court of Gujarat in India.

The two touchscreen kiosks located on court premises should help lawyers, members of the court staff and litigants stay up-to-date on the statuses of pending cases, according to dnaindia.com.

The kiosks display information in the same format as the court's website. A person must enter the case number, type and the year of filing to view its latest status.
