India state to install sanitary pad vending machines in schools

The Women and Child Development Corp. in Bihar, India, has allotted funds to install sanitary pad vending machines and middle and high schools for girls, according to a Times of India report.

The Bihar Education Project Council in Patna will send a list of 243 government schools in all 38 districts.

A spokesperson said the installations should be completed in two to three months.
