India sets up Internet kiosks in 10,000 villages

The Economic Times:The Maharashtra government in India is planning to set up Internet kiosks in 10,000 villages across the state of Mumbai. The move is aimed at bringing more parts of the state on an information superhighway as well as helping rural unemployed youth, chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh said at a special meeting in Mumbai.
