iMOZI unveils DVD kiosk

LAS VEGAS — iMOZI, provider of automated and digital-media self-service solutions, has unveiled a hybrid DVD kiosk that handles physical and digital-movie distribution.
According to a press release, the kiosk dispenses physical DVDs and Blu-ray rentals. Operators can also sell products in original shrink-wrapped packaging. Thousands of titles are available to burn digitally on DVD or download directly to portable devices and Flash media. "We want to make sure that we continue to offer as many channels as possible for the consumer to get their favorite media in a convenient and economical way," said Soheil Samimi, president of iMOZI. "By giving users the facility to interact with the kiosks in-store, online or through their mobiles, our operators are better positioned to satisfy the shifting demand."
