Public schools in Quincy, Illinois, now require students to have their temperatures scanned at a kiosk before being allowed to go to class, according to a WGEM-TV report. The high school and junior high school will each have two kiosks in addition to hand thermometers.

Students' temperatures must be below 100 degrees in order to be admitted to class.

The school is also offering students and teachers face shields in addition to requiring social distancing.
