Illinois has lifted a temporary suspension prohibiting Carvana from selling cars, according to a newschannel20.com report.
The state police issued the suspension for the company's misuse of issuing out-of-state temporary registration permits and failing to transfer titles. Under the temporary suspension, Carvana couldn't sell vehicles in Illinois.
Carvana can now sell cars but cannot sell temporary licenses or registrations.
The company also has to pay a $250,000 bond to guarantee payment of fees or fines customers incurred.
