IGT PlaySports renews deal with FanDuel for retail sports betting

International Game Technology has extended its partnership with FanDuel, a North American online gaming company, to provide the exclusive retail sports betting platform for FanDuel's sportsbooks and kiosks across the continent, according to a press release.
The renewed agreement, which runs through 2028, solidifies IGT PlaySports' position as the go-to platform for FanDuel's retail operations. The two companies have collaborated since 2019, when FanDuel opened its first U.S. sportsbook in New Jersey.
"Given IGT's experience as a global land-based casino supplier, we believe it offers the experience and capabilities we needed supporting our retail locations," Christian Genetski, FanDuel president, said in the release.
