The Idaho Transportation Department has been gathering public feedback on a plan to have EV charging stations every 50 miles of interstate under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, which President Biden signed last year, according to a ktvb.com report.
The state will receive just under $30 million over the next five years to install charging stations.
The department has gathered opinions about the plan through a series of meetings regarding the placement for charging stations, overall costs and more.
Input has been positive, according to a department spokesperson.
