Iconex acquires Graphic Controls’ POS rolls division

Iconex, a provider of label solutions and paper receipts, has acquired Graphic Controls' transactional media's point-of-sale rolls division, according to a press release. Graphic Controls, based in Buffalo, New York, is a subsidiary of Nissha Co. Ltd.

Iconex is acquiring the division's equipment and customer base but not any employees. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

The Graphic Controls point-of-sale rolls division produces kiosk receipts, POS coupons and security-enabled printed vouchers and receipts.

The equipment from Graphic Controls will be transitioned to Iconex's Morristown, Tennessee location. The group's products are used by customers in the kiosk, retail, banking, law enforcement and entertainment industries.
