HR tech conference set for October

April 28, 2003

PHILADELPHIA -- The sixth annual Human Resources Technology Conference will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention center Oct. 8-10.

The 2003 conference will feature the industry's first "Portal and Self-Service Shootout" in which vendors, including SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft will do back-to-back in-depth demonstrations of identical functions, saving attendees weeks of research on this important technology.

Planned keynoters include the first conference speech by worldwide partner Dave Kieffer of Mercer HR Consulting and co-author of "Play to Your Strengths," scheduled for fall publication by McGraw-Hill.

A new track, focusing on the burgeoning HR-outsourcing sector, will include advice from industry experts and early adopters.

The conference will feature an analyst panel with top HR analysts from Gartner, Meta and AMR Research, plus HR industry guru Naomi Lee Bloom. All four analysts will offer a limited number of free consulting meetings with conference attendees.

Additional session content will be announced in May.
