LAS VEGAS - Hemisphere West, a manufacturer of currency validation products for the Internet kiosk and gaming industries, has expanded its facility and added new personnel.

The moves came in the company's engineering and research and development departments. Company officials did not provide specifics into the new expansion, but said it was designed to accommodate customer needs.

"Many of our customers have great ideas for products that would enhance our core currency validation products," said John Petkus, Hemisphere West president. "We have a few more things in the pipeline and needed some extra engineering help also."

Petkus said the company would introduce several new products at KioskCom 2002 in Orlando, Fla., March 4-7.
