Healthnotes turns to MTek for integration

PORTLAND, Ore. - Health information provider Healthnotes Inc. has reached an agreement with Portland-based MTek Kiosk Inc. for kiosk integration services. Terms of the agreement were not announced.

MTek will provide hardware, testing, shipping, and maintenance of Healthnotes' touchscreen information kiosks.

The company has deployed kiosks at more than 6,500 locations in North America and the UK. The kiosks, located at health-food stores, retail groceries, and drug stores, offer information on herbal remedies, vitamins, prescription and over-the-counter medications, and other health-related services.
