Health, wellness machines arrive in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, New York residents can access wellness products from a vending machine at the corner of Decatur and Broadway streets, according to a news12.com report. The machine, the first of four planned in Brooklyn, offers COVID tests, fentanyl test strips, hygiene kits and medicine to help treat opioid overdoses.

Users must enter their zip code to receive free product.

The city has agreements in place to buy three more machines for $11,000 apiece and to provide stocking and maintenance.
