Health kiosk helps Hawaii hotel gain recognition
August 14, 2008
KAUAI, Hawaii — When Hawaii Business Magazine named Kauai's Grand Hyatt Hotel as "Best Place to Work in Hawaii" for 2008, it also cited the hotel's blood-pressure monitor and health-testing kiosk as one of the reasons.
According to a news release, the hotel's Lifeclinic kiosk is a feature the hotel is offering as part of its goal to promote health among its staff.
The Lifeclinic LC500 features automated blood pressure, weight, body fat, BMI and blood-oxygen tests, as well as glucose-meter upload. Employees navigate through the kiosk interface and health information via a 10.4-inch color LCD touchscreen.
