LOUISVILLE, Ky. -Leigh Harrington, an award-winning reporter for the Louisville, Ky. Voice Tribune, has joined NetWorld Alliance as editor of KioskMarketplace.com.
Harrington took over as editor of KioskMarketplace.com Dec. 2.
Harrington spent three years at The Voice-Tribune, a weekly newspaper, and has done freelance work in Louisville.
"Leigh brings solid reporting credentials to our staff, and I'm sure she'll learn the kiosk industry quickly," said Rick Redding, general editor at NetWorld. "She has demonstrated the ability to understand and write about a variety of business topics, and she'll have an opportunity to expand those skills here."
Harrington won two awards from the Kentucky Press Association for business and general news writing. She has written numerous freelance articles for The Southeast Outlook, a church-affiliated weekly newspaper.
She earned a bachelor's degree in Recording Industry from Middle Tennessee State University, with an emphasis in operations and administration and a double minor in communications and business administration.
