Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center has introduced a hands-only CPR training kiosk at the Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport, according to the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
The kiosk is located between Gates 6 and 7 near security.
The kiosk has a touchscreen with a video program that offers an overview of hands-only CPR, followed by a practice session and a 30-second test. Using a practice mannequin or a rubber torso, the kiosk provides feedback on the depth and rate of compressions and proper hand placement. The training takes about five minutes.
All the AHA CPR training kiosks are currently supplied, deployed and supported by Dynatouch, the company stated.
