SKANEATELES FALLS, N.Y. — Hand Held Products Inc. announced the latest mobile computer in its Dolphin 7000 series, the Dolphin 7600. The Dolphin 7600 is the first mobile computer to provide the functionality and versatility of a true industrial-grade mobile computing device packaged in a small, ergonomic, reliable and affordable solution. Featuring Adaptus Imaging Technology 5.0, the 7600 has the ability to read any linear or 2D barcode and capture digital images.
"The Dolphin 7600 truly represents a next step in mobile computing technology. It blends the advanced data collection, communication and computing architecture — that until now were only found in full-size industrial devices — with a smaller, more lightweight and ergonomic design," said Kevin Ahearn, vice president, Mobile & Wireless SBU, Hand Held Products. "We spent an extraordinary amount of time on understanding how users will interact with the device, enabling us to deliver an end product that we feel is second to none in terms of its intuitiveness and usability."
