Hackers link parking kiosk to websites featuring adult content

Hackers recently connected a parking kiosk to websites featuring adult content, according to researchers at the cybersecurity company Darktrace, which uses artificial intelligence to identify unusual activity on networks, Business Insider reported. 

The incident demonstrates the vulnerabilities that IoT devices can pose, and calls for comprehensive cyberdefense across the digital infrastructure, according to Darktrace, which plans to issue a report on the problem.
