Grand Beach Hotel introduces self-service kiosk from NCR

DULUTH, Ga.—The Grand Beach Hotel, an all-suites luxury property, has introduced a check-in and check-out self-service solution from NCR Corporation.
The NCR Hotel kiosk solution allows guests to locate and modify reservations, obtain room keys and print their reservation cards with room assignments in less then 90 seconds. Upon check-out, guests at the Grand Beach Hotel can print final folios, plus save additional time by checking in for flights and printing boarding passes at the kiosk before leaving the property.
"Consumers want more control over their journey," said Theresa Heinz, general manager, NCR Travel. "As the travel market rebounds, hotel operators will deploy self-service to differentiate themselves and allow guests to interact how, when and where they find most convenient."
Integrated with Micros' property management system, NCR Hotel is supported by NCR Services to ensure availability. The solution can help drive incremental revenue for hotel operators through consistent promotion of room upgrades.
