Goodwill using collection kiosks

December 12, 2011

Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey and Philadelphia have deployed kiosks to make donating a bit easier.

Computerized donation kiosks are now in 22 donation centers, along with I-DONATE technology allowing donors to track their giving online 24/7, according to South Jersey Local News.

All area Goodwill donation centers will still have staff on hand to help donors unload their cars, but then donors use the kiosks to input their contact information and what they donated. The kiosks then print a receipt for tax purposes. Once inputted into Goodwill's kiosk system, donors can go to www.goodwillnj.org, click the I-DONATE icon and then view and print their donation history as well as individualized receipts.
