BURNABY, British Columbia -- Kiosk software provider Info Touch Technologies has appointed Roy Goncalves as its new chief technology officer (CTO).
Effective immediately, according to a news release, Goncalves takes over the responsibility of steering future vision and direction of Info Touch's Surfnet software technology. Hamed Shahbazi, the company's chairman and chief executive, has been the acting CTO since February 2000.
Prior to his appointment, Goncalves was Info Touch's vice president of Software Development, and a leader in the architectural design and implementation of Info Touch's NetLock and Surfnet technologies.
"(Goncalves) has made significant contributions to our brand as a technology and value added services leader," Shahbazi in the news release.
