Goldfingers Monitors' infrared touchscreens can be used with a gloved finger, stylus or pen, removing the need for direct skin contact and allowing industries to build safer kiosks, monitors, slot machines, ATMs and other devices, according to a press release.
"There is a lot of uncertainty right now for equipment manufacturers that typically require the use of skin-to-screen contact," Daniel Hartmann, president and CEO of Goldfinger Monitors, said in the press release. "Goldfinger monitors can be used with a gloved finger, stylus or pen and can give both manufacturers and end-users a reason to feel safe."
Aside from the benefits of not having to touch the monitors with direct skin contact, the monitors can be wiped down with any recommended cleaning solution for safety. Goldfinger touchscreens are protected against scratches, fingerprints and other forms of minor damage.
