LAS VEGAS -- Casino executives and gaming regulators will be among the speakers at the Global Gaming Expo, scheduled for Sept. 17-19 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The conference and trade show will cover the current state of the casino and gaming industries, its future prospects, and technological advancements such as the use of kiosks in casino settings.
Among the scheduled speakers are MGM/Mirage chairman and chief executive officer J. Terrence Lanni, Harrah's Entertainment Inc. president and chief operating officer Gary Loveman, and National Indian Gaming Association executive director Mark Van Norman.
Among the topics to be discussed are intellectual property in the casino industry, regulation and reform issues surrounding Indian gaming, Internet gaming prospects, and corporate governance.
The day after the show, Sept. 20, special conferences will be offered to discuss gaming investment, training and development issues, and the interactive gaming industry.
Last year's inaugural Global Gaming Expo attracted 9,000 attendees and nearly 400 exhibitors to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
