Global Axcess Corp., an independent provider of self-service kiosk solutions, announced that it has signed a new, 16-month contract with a southeastern-based grocery store chain.
The new contract, valued at $16,000 per month, will cover 72 ATM locations and upgrades the customer from an in-house processing system to a full turnkey Global Axcess program. The company expects to begin generating revenues from these services in the first quarter of 2010.
"This new client converted the ATM locations from in-house management to our outsourced solution," said Global Axcess CEO George McQuain. "They recognized that our turnkey program will help them reduce their overhead costs and allow their managers to concentrate on customer service rather than managing ATMs...Re-staffing our sales organization during 2009 has led us to a strong sales pipeline and validates our investment in our sales and marketing capabilities as this win reflects. We believe there are substantial growth opportunities for us to grow our ATM network revenues organically."
