Germany's metraTec presents multiplexer product family

MAGDEBURG, Germany — metraTec has introduced a family of RFID multiplexers with four, eight and 16 antenna ports for HF and UHF applications. The devices are meant to enable users to easily set up complex RFID systems such as RFID shelves or antenna arrays for location tracking at a low cost.
The products presented are compatible with all readers on the market, independent of reader brand. Special emphasis was placed on simple control of the antenna ports and a robust electronics design based purely on semiconductors. The decision to develop a series of multiplexers was taken based on extensive experience in RFID-system development, which has been the core business of metraTec.
