German restaurant combines self-serve kiosks with pager system

Bona'me, a Cologne-based Kurdish-Turkish restaurant with branches in eight German cities, has combined a self- service kiosk with a pager system to streamline its order fulfillment process, according to a press release.

When customers place their orders at the self-ordering kiosk, they receive a pager that corresponds to their order. This pager allows the restaurant staff to notify customers when their food is ready for pickup, eliminating the need for customers to wait in line.

The integration of pager systems by Denmark based Discover Systems enhances the dining experience by minimizing waiting times for customers, according to the release.
