German equipment manufacturer installs inventory vending machine

Danfoss, a manufacturer of power sustaining products such as motors, compressors, valves, pumps and drives, has installed a second Orsymat vending machine from Würth Industrie Service GmbH & Co. at its Parchim, Germany factory, according to a Fastener + Fixing Magazine report.

The Orsymat WGT dispenses personal protective equipment and complements the machines already in use at the site.

The unit's weighing system detects the removal of an item using integrated weighing cells and allows individual items to be removed without packaging.

The user can also remove several items simultaneously. Once the item is removed, the machine closes and recalculates the machine inventory.
