The state of Georgia has partnered with JLL, an Atlanta provider of real estate services, to expand EV charging stations throughout the state.

The state department of transportation will apply for funds from a $5 billion electric vehicle infrastructure grant program established under the 2021 federal bipartisan infrastructure law, as well as a $2.5 billion grant program to fund stations in rural, lower-income and areas with a low ratio of private parking spaces, according to a report in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

JLL will provide expertise on engaging stakeholders, analyzing demand and assessing the impact of EV charging on future business models.
