Georgia seeks driver services kiosks that take pictures

The Georgia Department of Driver Services is seeking $1.2 million for 15 self-service kiosks that take users' pictures and print temporary permits and licenses in order to limit wait times and boost efficiency, according to a freshtakegeorgia.org report.

The department already operates 53 kiosks for tag renewal at tag offices and grocery stores and tag offices around the state which the department would also like to use those for license renewal.
