Black's Mill Elementary School in Dawsonville, Georgia, is the most recent elementary school to deploy a book vending machine that encourages kids to read, according to a Dawson County News report.

Principal Cindy Kinney got the idea after reading about another school using a book vending machine to encourage kids to read.

The school received a grant that covers the purchase of the machine and the books it will vend, which will cover a range of reading levels and topics.

Students will earn gold coins from teachers and administrators to "buy" the books in the machine.
