The General Services Administration awarded a contract to Georgia Power to install electric vehicle chargers at Marine Corps Logistics Base-Albany in Albany, Georgia to support an all-electric vehicle fleet, according to a press release.

The plan calls for 21 charge points at nine sites and a support infrastructure.

MCLB-Albany tapped Georgia Power's "Make Ready" initiative that offers funding to build infrasture between EV chargers and the existing electrical grid.

The project could allow up to 96 vehicles to charge on the base simultaneously.
