LONDON - Gaming software and kiosk developer IQ Ludorum PLC (London Stock Exchange:IQL) will begin exporting its IQ-Kiosk gaming machines to the land of soccer and carnivals starting in August.
The company, which has offices in Costa Rica, Canada, and England, on July 8 announced it would roll out 10,000 of the machines in the Brazilian states of Parana and Santa Catarina.
IQ-Kiosk is a cash-based game built around the company's IQ-Casino software system. IQ-Casino features electronic versions of blackjack, roulette, slots, and other casino-based games. The kiosk is designed for sports bars and betting facilities, according to the company.
IQ Ludorum will generate revenue from the machines through licensing fees and through a share of the profits on each machine.
Shares in IQ-Ludorum dropped ¼ to 4 ¼ (down 5.5 percent) in late-day trading on the London Stock Exchange on July 8.
