A Coastal Carolina University graduate is working to raise funds to develop a vending machine that provides homeless people hygiene products, according to a wbtw.com report.
Talisa Effinger, 22, with assistance from professors and non-profit organizations in Horry County, South Carolina, has launched a GoFundMe page to raise $900 by July. She also plans to design a card that will allow users to access the products without having to spend money.
The machine will offer free hygiene products, along with snacks.
