Free software update, plugin announced for Sony Spatial Reality Display

Sony has announced its free firmware update 1.2 for its Spatial Reality Display (ELF-SR2), along with a free plugin, according to a press release.
The firmware update aims to enhance image quality and performance on the system ELF-SR2, including processing options for quality or performance prioritization, usage environment setting, viewer switching, crosstalk adjustment, improved stability and super-resolution processing enhancement.
The Spatial Reality Display Plugin for Preview aims to allow ELF-SR1 and ELF-SR2 units to be compatible with Autodesk Maya, a 3D computer graphics application, among other Digital Content Creation (DCC) tools. The plugin also allows previewing of 3D computer graphics natively without glasses.
