The Floyd's More Heart initiative, which educates African Americans about cardiac health, has installed automated blood pressure kiosks at several locations in Cedartown and Rome, Georgia, according to a report in The Polk County Standard Journal.
The kiosks give free blood pressure readings and have been installed in Cedartown at One Door Polk, a facility serving local communities, and in Rome in the lobby of the Rome Housing Authority's No. 3 high rise on North Fifth Avenue, Wraps Styling Salon off Second Avenue and Lovejoy Baptist Church on Branham Avenue.
A user places their arm into the automated cuff, touches a button and waits for results.
