Florida newspaper commends tax office for installing vehicle registration renewal kiosks

The Tampa Bay Times has lauded the Hillsborough County, Florida tax collector's office for allowing residents to renew vehicle registrations and license plate decals using self-serve kiosks, calling it a double win for car owners and tax payers. The kiosks save tax payers time and money, the editorial said.

The kiosks have been instsalled in Brandon, Drew Park and North Tampa, allowing customers to pay using cash, credit or debit cards. Instructions are in Spanish and English.
