Florida museum features car vending machine

The Elliott Museum, a historical museum in Stuart, Florida, features a car collection and a three-story automated parking garage that acts as a car vending machine, according to a wptv.com report.

Museum car curator Jim Ferrare said all the cars in the garage have the batteries and fluids removed and are set up for viewing on a turntable machine.

The machine is made by Boomerang Systems Inc., which makes the RoboticValet, an automated guided vehicle based system that uses robots that roll across solid concrete slabs to enable faster retrievals and work around obstacles, according to automatedroboticparking.com.
