Florida hospitals to provide medication kiosks

AdventHealth, an Altamonte Springs, Fla.-based hospital system, has teamed with SpotRx to make it convenient for patients to fill prescriptions before leaving the doctor's office, according to a press release.

Patients insert a prescription receipt and the kiosk dispenses the medication.

Each kiosk will offer chronic medications, test strips, eye drops, ointments and OTC products but not controlled medications.
