Florida county expands vehicle registration kiosks

Florida motorists can renew vehicle registrations at a kiosk installed at the Palmetto Publix store at 1101 8th Avenue West, according to a report in The Bradenton Times.

The kiosk, the sixth such kiosk installed by the Manatee County Tax Collector's office, is available during Palmetto Publix's regular operating hours.

Registered vehicle owners need their registration renewal notice or the license plate number and date of birth and must have valid Florida insurance on file.

The six kiosks, listed on the collector's office website, accept credit and debit card payments.
