ATLANTA - The FlickStation, a revolutionary DVD kiosk from FlickStation Media, will make it easier for users to rent, return and repeat.
With its futuristic, two-piece design, the FlickStation boasts a capacity of nearly 1,000 discs and a footprint of approximately nine square feet.
Driving the FlickStation is an intuitive, enterprise-level suite of software and back-end management services that are fully automated and integrated into the Internet.
"Our collective, singular goal is to make the FlickStation experience fun and convenient for users, and virtually effortless for owner/operators," says Dean Gebert, FlickStation Media's chief executive officer. "FlickStation Media's engineers surpassed that goal with an innovative solution that accommodates current technologies, as well as future enhancements."
One of the planned enhancements is a small Burn-On-Demand module, evolving the FlickStation into a hybrid DVD/Download kiosk. Other planned enhancements include multiple checkout points at a FlickStation, which will lead to shorter queues, and a multi-language interface, which will allow international deployments.
