Five Star Food Service installs its 4,000th micro market

Five Star Food Service Inc., a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based provider of custom workplace breaktime solutions, has installed its 4,000th micro market in partnership with a customer in Flowery Branch, Georgia, according to a press release.
The micro market is equipped with self-checkout kiosk technology including the flexibility of touchless payment via the company's mobile app, real-time inventory management, digital promotional display and cooling equipment.
"What an incredible journey from the first installation (in 2011) to reaching this impressive milestone of 4,000 today," Mark Stephanos, senior executive vice president, said in the press release. "It's evident that providing unique breaktime solutions throughout the Southeast has become a source of pride for our team."
