Feeling the burn, Info Touch goes for fitness kiosks

BURNABY, British Columbia - Info Touch Technologies Corp. (CDNX:IFT) is teaming with Fitness Venture Group to develop a series of health club kiosks focusing on fitness and nutrition issues.

Based in Phoenix, Fitness Venture provides Web-based solutions to the health club industry. Its client base includes Gold's Gym International Inc., Fitworks, and Lifestyle Family Fitness.

The Web-enabled kiosks will be deployed at health clubs. The kiosks will feature Fitness Venture's FitnessInsite program, which includes 250 workout programs and 4,000 meal plans. The kiosk will also include an e-commerce store offering vitamins and nutritional supplements. Info Touch will provide the software for the system running on Compaq hardware.

Info Touch and Fitness Venture expect to generate revenue through the sale of kiosk-based products and services.
