Fastenal switches to online shareholders meeting due to coronavirus

Fastenal, a provider of machines for dispensing tools, safety and janitorial supplies in industrial worksites, has changed its annual shareholders meeting on April 25 to a virtual event on account of the coronavirus pandemic, the company announced in a press release. Proxy materials have already been sent to shareholders.

Shareholders will need to enter the control number found on their proxy card, voting instructions form or notice previously distributed with the proxy materials.

There will be a process available to vote online during the virtual meeting which begins at 10 a.m. Shareholders are encouraged to vote and submit their proxies in advance of the meeting using one of the methods described in the proxy materials.
