Canada NewsWire: According to a news release, a new kiosk program launched by Fairmont Hotels & Resorts boasts "a first within the hotel industry" - allowing customers to visually choose their rooms via a graphical map, which is customized to their feature preferences. The system, developed with IBM, also includes a "Wireless Guest Ambassador," a hotel staffer who wanders the self-service area with a wireless tablet PC in hand, helping guests use the new kiosks.
