Fairfield Displays names exec. v.p.

HATFIELD, Pa. -- Michael Evans has been named executive vice president at Fairfield Displays and Lighting, provider of displays, lighting and signage to U.S. retailers.

Evans brings to Fairfield a diversified background in advertising. He has worked with Fortune 500 companies in the information technology arena.

With a degree in marketing from Pennsylvania State University, Evans is looking to put his background and skills to use and build relationships with some of the top retailers in the country.

"Our goal is to teach companies how to build `top of mind awareness' in their industry despite the massive clutter factor in today's advertising environment," said Evans.

"One of the biggest problems in marketing today is getting caught up in the whirlwind of advertising messages. Our products and knowledge are helping companies to be a step ahead of their competition and stand alone in their industry."
