EV charging company EVBox reaches 50,000 stations worldwide

December 29, 2017

EVBox, a manufacturer of electric vehicle charging stations and charging management software, reached a milestone of 50,000 installed charging points worldwide, according to a press release. Number 50,000 was installed at the Los Angeles Cleantech Incubator in Los Angeles.

With an organizational focus on tackling the challenges in pushing regional electrification in transportation, adding EVBox's 50,000th charger to the Electric Vehicle Showcase at the La Kretz Innovation Campus fits well with LACI's goals.

"We believe LA should be a global focal point for advancing electric vehicle infrastructure and mobility innovation," Ben Stapleton, LACI chief partnerships officer, said in the press release. "That's why we're building a state-of-the-art EV Showcase at the La Kretz Innovation Campus where we can demonstrate a variety of smart charging equipment, EVs and mobility solutions. We're pleased to have a global leader such as EVBox as a partner on this project."
