ESAR kiosks get Smart

EDMONTON, Alberta - Global Consumer Technologies Inc. (CDNX: GCT) has entered into a strategic alliance partnership agreement with ESAR Information Technologies Inc. (ESAR). The agreement was signed May 7.

ESAR will provide access and use of its proprietary kiosk technologies, applications and services to GCT, and GCT will provide its Smart Card technology, applications and services to ESAR. Merchants and consumers obtain another option for transaction processing, since consumers will be able to use their GCT card products at ESAR kiosks.

ESAR designs electronic systems for industrial automation and information terminals. It also develops customer-specific turn-key solutions which are suitable and affordable for small and medium sized firms. ESAR's kiosk customers include banks, universities, public hospitals, city offices and private companies.

Global Consumer Technologies designs, develops and markets Smart Card applications that integrate secure online and in-store transactions, and customer loyalty programs for local, national and international businesses. GCT's products and services include four different e-commerce cards with loyalty applications, e-commerce engine software tools, Smart Card enabled interactive television set-top boxes and Smart Card point of sale readers.
