Epson intros minilab photo printer

Epson has introduced its SureLab D570 professional minilab photo printer for the event market, according to a press release. The printer provides a solution for printing small-format photos on demand, making it suitable for event, hospitality, kiosk and retail environments.

The SureLab D570 couples Epson's MicroPiezo AMC printhead with vivid UltraChrome D6r-S ink to deliver vibrant pictures.

The printer can power with a user-provided portable battery for event printing on-site. It prints 4- by 6-inch photos in seconds.

With a stackable design, businesses can scale and add more printers to keep up with customer demand.

It also features built-in wireless connectivity as well as software for creating professional prints with either the minilab's redesigned printer driver or a smartphone.
